Credits are dollar-denominated (1 credit = $1) and each guide costs 1 (Basic) / 2 (Enhanced) / 5 (Premium) credits from your monthly bundle — so a bundle stretches further on light guides than rich ones. Viewing guides shared with you is always free. Yearly billing saves 20%.

What counts as a "guide"?
One published capture = one guide, and it's charged once — the first time you publish it. Editing or re-publishing it later (including under a different reading mode) is free and never charges again.
How do the $1 / $2 / $5 brackets work?
The bracket is set automatically from the voice your guide uses. Written-only is Basic (1 credit); standard AI narration is Enhanced (2 credits); a cloned or specialty voice is Premium (5 credits). Premium is where the richest capabilities live — custom voice cloning + premium voices, software-aware Business Central & Dynamics 365 Sales narration with the in-thread knowledge-base assistant, threaded collaboration, and advanced export. You see the bracket before you publish — no surprise bills.
What are the seat types, and can I add more than my plan includes?
Three seat types. A creator seat has full Studio — capture, build, edit, publish; plans include 1 (Starter), 2 (Team), or 3 (Business); extra creators are $19/mo (Starter/Team) · $49/mo (Business). A collaborator seat — $15 (Starter) · $22 (Team) · $29 (Business)/mo — does everything except Studio creation: authors threads, uses the AI assistant + knowledge base. A viewer seat ($10/seat/mo flat) watches, takes training, and reads threads. Yes — you can scale seats beyond what a plan bundles, right in your billing settings: pick a base plan, add the creators, collaborators and viewers you need, and the monthly price updates live (never below the base plan's advertised price). Anyone opening a public share link views for free, no seat required.
What are "credits"?
1 credit = $1. Each plan includes a monthly credit bundle (Starter 20 · Team 40 · Business 60), and a published guide costs credits equal to its bracket — 1 (Basic), 2 (Enhanced), or 5 (Premium). So your bundle is a budget, not a flat guide count: 60 credits is ≈ 12 Premium, 30 Enhanced, or 60 Basic guides depending on your mix. Each additional creator seat adds 20 credits to the monthly bundle. Once the bundle is used up, more guides bill at the same $1 / $2 / $5 rate as metered overage on your next invoice.
Is there a free plan or trial?
No free or trial tier — building guides uses real AI, OCR, and voice synthesis that cost money. But viewing any guide shared with you is always free, with no subscription, so your audience never needs to pay to learn.
What if I hit my monthly token or spend limit?
Each plan has a monthly AI allowance. You get a soft warning at 80%, and at 100% we pause new AI work with a clear upgrade prompt — but we never interrupt a build already in progress.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current period, and your published guides stay viewable by anyone you've shared them with.
